Family Support Source offers Proactive Parenting
Consultation for individuals, couples, and groups in search of authentic
strategies for raising children. We are devoted to giving support to the
whole family, and to helping to create short-term
and long-term successful parenting practices.
Family Support Source encourages Proactive
Parenting, which enables parents to understand and satisfy the needs of
their children at different stages, while carrying on gratifying and successful
adult lives.
Family Support Source is for anyone who wants to improve his or her
role as an influential member of a family. We welcome
mothers, and fathers, grandparents, aunts
and uncles, stepmothers, stepfathers, adopting parents,
single parents, gay parents, divorcing parents, any family member looking
to enrich the quality of a responsible life.
Family Support Source promotes Proactive Parenting from a very
early age, through childhood
and adolescence, into young
adulthood. We believe that parenting is a never-ending process; there is
always room for improvement.
Family Support Source provides initial consultations to obtain a
working plan. This may include observation in the family, with follow-up
meetings weeks or months later. We offer House Calls by request, and referrals
to professionals if necessary.
